The Nova Scotia government is reporting 1 new COVID-19 (coronavirus) cases in the province as of Thursday, May 21, 2020. The total number of cases is now 1046. 959 people have recovered. 9 people are currently hospitalized. There was 1 additional death reported today. There have been 58 deaths in total in Nova Scotia.
The Eastern Zone has 14 consecutive days without a case that ended on May 10th when a single new case was reported. However, no new cases followed, and this is currently the 11th consecutive day without a case in the Eastern Zone. The Eastern Zone had had 4 total deaths, with the last of the reported deaths occurring on April 23rd.
The highest number of active COVID-19 cases (non-recovered or deceased) was reported on April 19th totalling 466.
