The total number of cases is now 1049. 969 people have recovered. 6 people are currently hospitalized. There were no additional deaths reported today. There have been 58 deaths in total in Nova Scotia. 

This is currently the 13th consecutive day without a case in the Eastern Zone. Previously, the Eastern Zone had 14 consecutive days without a case that ended on May 10th when a single new case was reported. However, no new cases occurred since.

The Eastern Zone had had 4 total deaths, with the last of the reported deaths occurring on April 23rd.

The highest number of active COVID-19 cases (non-recovered or deceased) was reported on April 19th totalling 466.
