The Nova Scotia government is reporting 3 new COVID-19 (coronavirus) cases in the province as of Saturday, October 10, 2020. 1 person is hospitalized in the ICU. All new cases are in the Central zone. Two are travel-related and the third is a close contact of the other two individuals.

The total number of cases is now 1092. There were 0 additional deaths reported today. There have been 65 deaths in total in Nova Scotia. There are 5 active cases. There is 1 hospitalized patient with COVID-19. 1022 people have recovered or are classified as "resolved."
"It remains important for Nova Scotians to strictly adhere to the public health order and directives - practise good hand washing and other hygiene steps, maintain a physical distance when and where required, and wearing a non-medical mask is strongly recommended when physical distancing is difficult."
IMPORTANT:
"Anyone who has travelled outside of Nova Scotia must self-isolate for 14 days. As always, any Nova Scotian who develops symptoms of acute respiratory illness should limit their contact with others until they feel better." See exceptions for the "Atlantic Bubble" below.
Atlantic Bubble Began on July 3, 2020:
"Earlier today, the Council of Atlantic Premiers announced travel restrictions in Atlantic Canada will be eased as COVID-19 case numbers remain low in each province. Interprovincial travel within Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland and Labrador, without the requirement to self-isolate for Atlantic Canadian residents, will be permitted beginning Friday, July 3."
The Eastern Zone had had 4 total deaths, with the last of the reported deaths occurring on April 23rd.
The highest number of active COVID-19 cases (non-recovered or deceased) was reported on April 19th totalling 466.
