Organizers shared photos of the buses to be used for Friday's healthcare protest. More photos here.
From the #getonthebus Organizers:
Health Minister Randy Delorey has been invited time & time again to rallies & town halls held in Cape Breton. To hear our concerns about the ongoing healthcare crisis and the announced closure of two CB community hospitals. He has consistently chosen not to attend.
IF HE WON'T COME TO US, THEN WE WILL GO TO HIM!
On November 16th we will charter and fill several buses with Cape Breton citizens concerned about the future of healthcare on our island. We will travel to the Canso Causeway, where we will exit the buses and lead a one-lane march across. Once across we will get back on our buses and drive to the Health Ministers constituency office in Antigonish, where we will present our concerns and protest outside his office for several hours before returning home.
Our fundraising has been successful and there is no cost to passengers! All we need now is you! Register today by emailing us at

Please include passengers name, phone number and desired pickup location. If you need any help registering call one of our organizers at 902-304-4626
