The Cape Breton Classic Car Club is hosting three events this week commencing with an Antique & Custom Car Night at the Drive-In on Thursday, September 28th. Featured movies will be The Buddy Holly Story and American Graffiti. $ 10 per carload and everyone is welcome. The shows start at dusk. Due to the inclement weather, this event has been re-scheduled for Sunday, October 1st. On Friday, September 29th there will be a Rock n’ Roll Concert at the Band Shell, Wentworth Park. Admission is free and the concert runs from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. The Fall Classic Show & Shine and BBQ Cook-Off is being held on Charlotte Street from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. Charlotte Street will be closed to vehicular traffic from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. The Show will feature antique, custom and special interest vehicles; live music; food trucks; vendors; silent auction; face painting and much more. There is no admission fee but we are accepting donations. The Hospice and Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton will be receiving 50 percent of the profits from all of the 2017 events sponsored by the Cape Breton Classic Cruisers Car Club.
