Friends of the late Dave Ervin (Peter Steele, Bernie LaRustic, Eric "Fudgie" Fudge, Bill Appleby, Steve Melnick, Jim Troke, Paul MacKinnon and Allan MacPherson) are fundraising to create a memorial in tribute of Dave Ervin. (park bench and/or gazebo at Open Hearth Park & possible Cape Breton University scholarship) Dave dedicated much of his life to the betterment of our community and the people of Cape Breton Island.
