Developing Workforce Supervisors and Managers - Leadership Skils Training

The Cape Breton Partnership is offering Leadership Training in collaboration with NSCC for businesses in the Cape Breton region. The training is funded through the Nova Scotia Department of Labour and Advanced Education's Workplace Innovation and Productivity Skills Incentive (WIPSI) program.

The purpose of this training is to aid in the development of managerial and supervisory skills for employees or business owners that are looking to grow their companies, increase skill sets of current employees or develop skills in promising future leaders. This training is a great opportunity to provide leadership skills for your employees. The training is valued at $2700 and costs may be covered for qualified applicants.

Two courses are currently being offered, the first is for Youth (35 and under) and the second is for mature Industry employees.The sessions are four hours each, one day a week and run from the end of September until mid-January .
