The Equalization Fairness Board is looking for people from Cape Breton Island that would like to participate in our information Rally soon in Sydney. The media will be covering this event and we are looking for people who can carry signs and pass out information on the unfair practices of Halifax in the distribution of Equalization Payments. Cape Breton is shorted over $230 million per year and we have seen zero economic growth in decades. We pay the second highest Business tax rates in the country, just behind Vancouver but we pay a higher rate than Toronto.
