The Cape Breton Highlanders professional basketball franchise is teaming up with the Travelodge in Sydney. The newly-renovated Travelodge will provide accommodations for the Highlanders' coach and players. They will also be hosting competing teams when they visit Sydney.
Tyrone Levingston, President and General Manager of the Highlanders, said, "The Travelodge stepped up to provide a perfect home for our team, visiting teams, and NBL fans. Our players will have access to newly-renovated rooms, housekeeping services, a weight room, pool, and all the amenities they need to feel at home in Cape Breton and to have the freedom to focus on their mission."

The Cape Breton Highlanders Franchise is one of 10 professional basketball teams in the National Basketball League of Canada.
