CBRM resident, Kevin Hardy, raised concerns about the new road work on Hills Road in the Mira area last month. A key issue of concern was that the shoulder of the newly paved road wasn't wide enough. Hardy said it didn't meet the provincial standards. His advocacy lead to recent media coverage.

Today he updated his Facebook page with photos showing ongoing work to widen the shoulder of the roadway. Hardy says he'll be watching to make sure the work is "done right this time".
