CAPE BRETON - The Island Girls are set to return to the Savoy Theatre on June 24, 2021 to offer a live stream of their brand new music and comedy show.
Earlier this year, the show was forced into multiple postponements due to restrictions, but current regulations make it now possible for the live stream to go ahead as planned. Savoy Executive Director Pam Leader says they're happy to be getting back to business, "If you previously purchased tickets, they are valid for this upcoming performance. You can enjoy it right from your own living room," she said.
The show will air live on June 24 at 8pm and will then be available for 96 hours, making it easier for ticket-buyers to adjust schedules.
ISLAND GIRLS Music and Comedy features the talents of four of Cape Breton Island’s busiest performers: Bette MacDonald, Heather Rankin, Lucy MacNeil and Jenn Sheppard. They are backed by seasoned musicians Stephen Muise, Fred Lavery, Brian Talbot, Em Dingwall and Colin Grant.
