Jim Matthews was a prominent businessman committed to making local investments in Cape Breton including the Prince Street Market in Sydney. He lost his life this week as the victim of a homicide. Community organizers have come together to hold a vigil on Saturday evening, from 7 to 9pm, September 2nd.
"On the Corner of Bentick and Prince St. in downtown Sydney there will be a quiet candlelight vigil outside of the Prince Street Market, which was Jim's pride and joy. Everyone is welcome to attend to pay respect to Jim and his legacy of love. Candles will be supplied, feel welcome to bring own. Music will be performed by Brad Murphy."
