Looking to give back to our Volunteers.

Dear Cape Breton Business Community, My name is David Williams and I am the Volunteer Coordinator at the Cape Breton Miners Museum. We are reaching out to local businesses in the community in hopes of receiving some donations for gifts for our dedicated volunteers who gave up their personal time to help us during a very successful 2017 season. Without the volunteers, the whole experience in our Company House and Company Store is missed by our guests who enjoy stepping back into time to see how miners lived in the earlier years of coal mining. Being a non-profit organization, we rely on volunteers every year because of limited funds for staffing but without them, we would be lost. We are hoping that, with the help of some friends from local businesses, we can give back to the volunteers to show how much we appreciate them. We would appreciate any donation that your business may be able to contribute. Please allow me to thank you for your time and for any donations. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at the Museum. Sincerely Yours, David Williams Volunteer Coordinator Miners Museum (902) 849 – 8195 [email protected]
