March 10 NASA Image Shows Pack Ice on West Coast

Photo Credit: NASA Terra Satellite - March 10, 2022

NASA’s Terra satellite image of the province from this morning, on a nice blue sky day shows lots of ice packing in along the west coast, and swinging around the northern tip of the island and out into the Atlantic, as well as packing into Aspy Bay.

Lakes on the Island are still ice covered. The Bras d’Or Lake is still open, except for St Patrick’s channel. St Ann’s Bay is ice covered. Snow cover still complete over the Island.
