CTV's Ryan MacDonald and several other Cape Breton journalists are reporting on social media (Twitter) that a trailer carrying new cars burned, fullying destroying several vehicles in Baddeck. The fire was focused at the front of the trailer. Vehicles at the rear were spared.

The cars were destined for dealerships in Sydney.

Ryan MacDonald also tweeted photos of a local gas station building that was damaged in the fire.
