Eggs, brooms and cars — new Sydney store has it all

A new convenience store in Sydney offers not only eggs or a broom but also a car.

“And convenient cars too,” joked Kevin MacEachern, who owns and operates Jovy’s Place and Convenience on the corner of Dorchester and Dodd Street in Sydney, along with his wife Jovy MacEachern. “I’m a car salesman, too. We have it all here.”

Jovy’s Place and Convenience is a neighbourhood convenience store which officially opened Aug. 8.

“It’s something that was desperately needed,“ Kevin said. “ We are the only convenience store in the north end.”
