Dear Editor,
    The sudden death of Barrie Fraser on January 6th, 2023, shocked and saddened me. In 1990, my husband and I moved into a new home in Dartmouth. There was a large blank wall in the family room which needed some wall hangings. I commissioned Barrie to paint interpretations of the four seasons in separate frames. In water colours, he did a blue jay for winter, a robin for spring, iris for summer, and maple leaves for autumn. The cluster of the seasons sure brightened…
