Protocase Turns Co-op Store Into A Manufacturing Plant

From CBC Nova Scotia:

A former co-op store building in Sydney, N.S., has been turned into a manufacturing plant.

The store, which opened in 1936 at Ashby Corner, closed in 2014 because of declining business.

The 1,900-square-metre building was purchased last year by Protocase, which makes electronic enclosures. The company has 10,000 customers worldwide.

Steve Lilley, company president and CEO, says business is growing, so their space at Harbourside commercial park isn't enough.
