Mooseheads Weather Early Storm, Top Eagles In Game One

– The Halifax Mooseheads weather an early storm from the Cape Breton Eagles and get goals from four different scorers in a 4-1 win. Halifax built a 2-0 lead in the opening period and did not look back.

– Angelo Fullerton, one of ten Eagles players making his major junior playoff debut, scored the lone goal for Cape Breton.

– Mathis Rousseau shone in the win, stopping 37 of 38 shots for Halifax. Oliver Satny stopped 26 of 30 in the loss for the Eagles.
