Tiny Cape Breton village to hit the big screen in Hollywood

Documentary about Neils Harbour to be shown at Los Angeles International Underground Film Festival

It started out as a school project.

But now a short film about a small Cape Breton fishing village is headed to Hollywood.

Emily Fricker's documentary Neil's Harbour: A Day Down Home will air at the Los Angeles International Underground Film Festival in December.

Screenings will be held at a theatre on Santa Monica Boulevard in Hollywood.

"Oh, cool," said Fricker. "I didn't even look into that. That's amazing!"
