Saharan Dust Reaches Maritimes In June 2020

One of the largest dust sources on the planet is the Sahara Desert in North Africa.

NASA recorded a recent large dusting event (mid June 2020) crossing the ocean and into the Caribbean. NASA has been tracking the dust cloud, and on June 29th it entered our region. A small, home planet indeed !
