Cape Breton University acquired the Tartan Downs harness racing property in Sydney. The intentions are likely focused on much-needed housing development. Residents nearby already see a high volume of rats and are concerned the project may drive them out into the community looking for new habitat. The project is essential. But, is there anything CBU can do to destroy the rat population before displacing them?
