Cape Breton Environmental Conservation Association in partnership with Bayitforward are hosting a shoreline cleanup in celebration for World Oceans Day. Waves media will also be on scene to capture the day, hope to see you out there!

Did you know ocean plants produce half of the worlds oxygen? Pretty neat huh! Oceans also absorb nearly one-third of human-caused carbon dioxide emissions. They also regulate our weather and form clouds that bring us fresh water. On top of all that oceans are home to over one million species (Providing us with a source of income and sustenance).
