It's all over, the only people wearing masks are people that have been brainwashed by CBC or CNN. Doctor Strang simply misses the attention this fool should have been fired a year ago. Doctor Tam, Fauci, CDC and WHO all have different opinions. The was never a second, third, fourth wave, Shame on these fools.

The pandemic isn't over, but it's certainly changed a great deal. Perhaps high vaccination, behavioural adaptations, or a weakening in the viral mutations that have occurred have taken us to where we are now. I'm not sold on Strang being attention-seeking. However, I do believe he will give in to political pressure. I suppose it depends on how a "wave" is defined. There was certainly multiple phases of intensified infection recorded in the statistics, as well as mutations of the virus that were documented. I have no clear reason to doubt the idea of "waves" with the pandemic.

The pandemic is not over only because far left keep brining into the forefront. Even the PM visits other countries and since the G7 summit, never wearing any masks since back in June of 2021. It's absolutely pathetic the treatment these elected officials show people. Perhaps Dr. Strang as well as Dr. Moore and other Chief medical officers are done listening to the narrative and are finally speaking for themselves.

Technically speaking, the pandemic isn't over because there is still a global prevalence of infection of COVID-19 variants. Nonetheless, attitudes toward how society responds to the pandemic have most certainly shifted, largely in relationship to deployment of vaccines and reduced severity of the omicron variant. There have certainly been many opportunities to find glaringly obvious flaws within the government response everywhere. I must take issue with Strang in terms of your thought that he might finally be speaking for himself. If he's doing so, he's doing so only passively. In my opinion, if he disagrees with the Premier, he should say so very clearly, and certainly not suggest that masking policy isn't up to him to decide. It looks to me that he's responding to political pressure the entire ride, including now.
