The 2020 edition of the Christmas Daddies Telethon is set to go live on Saturday, December 5th from 11am to 6pm.
As well as being broadcast on CTV, the Christmas Daddies Telethon will be streamed on the CTV Atlantic webpage during the live show.
The funds raised through the Christmas Daddies program provide toys and gifts for less fortunate children during the Christmas season. The Salvation Army distributes these funds throughout Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. Funds are returned to the area from which they originated. As an example a donation from Bridgewater goes back to Bridgewater.
Last year alone, more than 18,000 Maritime children and parents received toys and food at Christmas because donors contributed to the Christmas Daddies Telethon.
