Although no Canadian teams remain in the Stanley Cup playoffs this year, many Cape Breton hockey fans are likely to be cheering on former Cape Breton Screaming Eagle, Marc-Andre Fleury.  Despite getting behind by 2 games to 1, he's doing his best to lead the Las Vegas Golden Knights to a Stanley Cup win in the first year of their franchise.

May 30th, 2018 was a special day for Cape Breton hockey. It marked 25 years since the Cape Breton Oilers successfully became the 1992-1993 Calder Cup champions. Here's a video of the final minutes when they closed out the series and the celebration that followed at Centre 200 in Sydney.
