Marc-André Dumont, General Manager and Head Coach of the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles, has been named an Assistant Coach with Team Canada for the 2019 IIHF World Junior Championship in Vancouver and Victoria, B.C.

“I am excited to be part of Team Canada for the World Juniors,” said Dumont.  “It is one of the most respected hockey programs in the world and a privilege to be part of.”

Team Canada is heading into the 2019 Championship with back-to-back gold medals.  Marc-André will share the bench with Head Coach Tim Hunter of the Moose Jaw Warriors, and fellow Assistant Coaches Jim Hulton of the Charlottetown Islanders and Brent Kisio of the Lethbridge Hurricanes.
