I would like to introduce myself. My name is Tom Wilson.  Some of you may already know me.  I was a CBRM councillor for eight years from 2004 to 2012 in the former District 9. During that time I served on all major council committees. I was also Chairperson of the Police Commission, the Planning Committee, and The Heritage Committee.

I am a lifetime resident of Sydney. I grew up in the North End.   My wife and I presently live in the south end of Sydney.

 I attended Sydney Academy and the Nova Scotia Eastern Institute of Technology (presently CBU) in the Business Administration Program.  I worked at Sydney Steel for thirty years in various positions.  When Sydney Steel closed my position was Scheduler & Training Coordinator/Safety Supervisor in the administration department of the Rail Finishing Mill.    

I am married to Marie Currie Wilson and we have four children; Rachelle (Joe AuCoin), Kristopher (Lisa Huestis), Greg (Nicole MacIntosh), and Meghan (Liam Morrison) and we have four grandchildren.
