The fact that Dr Moodley continues to have one of the largest OBGYN practices in the Eastern zone, drawing patients from all over the province, is testimony enough that further analysis of this decision is warranted. So hopefully this decision will be appealed at a national level shedding light on alleged racial discrimination during the hearing and also addressing which complaints are encouraged to face hearings and which are swept under the rug by the College. This case has garnered enough attention that patients and the general public need their concerns addressed. Perhaps the list of doctors facing disciplinary action by the college (as listed on their own website) is an indication that there may be some credence to these allegations.
