Just thinking about our CIVIC CENTER:in the last 12 months:the former mayor exits..... right into an RCMP credit card investigation which is still ongoing, followed by the buy out of the Chief Administration Officer who let the credit card scandal happen right under her nose with a golden handshake of $440,000,then her assistant, the finance officer, gone to CBU for the same type of job and now the CAO's brother in law,the police chief to retire. Now in the middle of this is a crew of outside auditors hired to review the books which are way behind causing them to be stuck in there beyond their tentative completion date of Sept./25.Mounties and Auditors together must be makin some people pretty nervous, even the straightest amongst them. Now folks.......ya just can't make this stuff up so it's understandable that the rumour mill is spinning.

WHILE WE'RE ON THE TOPIC: CBRM is run by an experienced/seasoned politician and 2 lawyers and having said that, lots of background to spin together a good yarn to confuse our 12 councillors with proposals that make no sense whatsoever if they choose to do so.So the question is.......when did our council ever unanimously vote NO to something put before them by senior administration. The answer is never.So.....what do they do for the $653,000 we pay them?
