RCMP seek help after fatal single-vehicle crash on Cabot Trail [CBC]

RCMP in Victoria County, Cape Breton, are looking for help after a man died and another person was injured in a single-vehicle crash on the Cabot Trail.

The incident occurred around 7:45 p.m. on May 30 near the Blaze Road intersection between Cape North, N.S., and Big Intervale.

In a news release, RCMP say a white Honda Civic left the Cabot Trail and hit the ditch.

A 20-year-old man from the nearby community of South Harbour was pronounced dead at the scene. A second occupant of the car sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Passersby assisted until first responders could arrive.
