As of Monday, October 9th, the Cape Breton Highlands National Park says the Skyline Trail remains closed due to "recent aggressive moose in the area". They are monitoring the situation.

These powerful animals are dangerous if interfered with or approached. Here's a video shared by CBC New Brunswick on October 4th. Denis Levesque recorded two bull moose fighting on a roadway in Northern New Brunswick.
