VOTE for your favourite displays by clicking LIKE. You could win one of several Seaside Communications t-shirts or Pay-per-view movie passes.
SHARE your own display, or your neighbours, by posting a photo and address to this website. The owner of the display with the most LIKES will win $50 cash, a family pass to Two Rivers Wildlife Park , and t-shirts for the family. By sharing a display, you too could win a prize.
How to post a display
- You must be a goCapeBreton.com member and signed in. Sign in now or create a free membership
- Click the NEW POST button at the top of this page.
- Add a photo of the display as the HEADLINE IMAGE and use the ADDRESS (street and town) as the HEADLINE TEXT. include a brief description in the BODY and choose if you want COMMENTS.
- It is not required, but we also recommend using the LOCATION Map feature and adding more photos and information about the display. This will help you win more LIKES.

Contest Rules
- Holiday and Christmas lights displays must be located on Cape Breton Island, NS, Canada.
- To enter a lighting display in the Contest, click on NEW POST above and use the template to create a post. You must include a headline photo and enter the address in the Headline text (street and town).
- goCapeBreton.com members vote for their favourite displays by clicking the LIKE button.
- The display with the most votes as of midnight on December 28th, 2015 wins the Seaside Holiday Prize Package.
- Other prizes will be awarded based upon a draw from among Members who either posted or voted for displays. Prizes must be picked up within 30 days of winning at Seaside offices in Sydney or Glace Bay.
