12 Things you need to know about Cape Breton Beer Fest 2018

When & Where is Cape Breton Beer Fest?
The 3rd Annual Cape Breton Beer Fest will take place Saturday December 1st, 2018 at the Joan Harris Cruise Pavilion (The Big Fiddle). There will be ONE Showing. from 7:00pm-9:30pm. VIP Ticket Holders may enter at 6:00pm to get an early start on sampling. Taps will be shut off at 9:30pm, you have until 10:00pm to finish you conversations and samples.

What are the ticket prices?
General Admission is $55+tax
VIP Tickets: $65+tax

Where can I buy tickets?
Tickets are available on our website, at Breton Brewing Co. and Winexpert (480 Prince St. Sydney).
Tickets Purchased online will be sent to the email provided.  iPhone users may add their tickets to their apple wallet.

What do I get as a VIP Ticket Holder?
*VIP holders will receive a special edition CBBF Glass along with entrance 1 hour before scheduled event time (6:00pm) to meet the vendors and sample their products first.

How big are the sample sizes?
Craft Beer & Cider samples are 4oz.  Wine samples are 1oz. while spirit samples are 1/4 oz.

What if I don’t drink alcohol?

There will be non-alcoholic beverages provided by Cape Breton Beverages available along with designated driver tickets for $15+tax each. 

What if I don’t drink craft beer?
No need to worry, there will be a variety of options for product sampling.  There will be tasting options from a local Premium Apple Cider vendor, Local Wine Products and a local Spirit Companies.

Ok got it, so how does beer fest work?
You will receive your glassware and 12 sample tickets upon entering. Once in the show there will be local food and beverage vendors from all over the province serving Beer, Cider, Wine and Spirits. Drink samples are included in the price of admission however the food will be sold by each food vender (no more than $5/Item). 

Is there a limit on sample tickets?
No, samples are unlimited. Tickets are issued only for inventory tracking

Glass Rinsing 

There will be a number of glass rinsing stations placed throughout the event floor, here you can rinse your glasses to ensure the accurate brewery taste!

Will there be entertainment
YES, there will be live music entertainment in the round.  It will be an intimate setting.

Do you get to take my tasting glass home?
YES, Your Cape Breton Beer Fest Glass is yours to keep!
