There were no additional deaths reported today. There have been 62 deaths in total in Nova Scotia. There are 5 active cases (the first time the province has provided this data directly). 2 people are currently hospitalized.
The number of active and resolved cases and deaths in total now match the total number of "cumulative cases confirmed" of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia.
Note: After updating the data portal (not updated for the two previous days), the number of cases in the Eastern Zone has increased by 4 cases. At some point, prior to "reconciling" the data the number of cases for our zone were underreported.
The Eastern Zone had had 4 total deaths, with the last of the reported deaths occurring on April 23rd.
The highest number of active COVID-19 cases (non-recovered or deceased) was reported on April 19th totalling 466.
