0 COVID-19 Cases or Deaths; Eastern Cases Underreported

The Nova Scotia government is reporting 0 new COVID-19 (coronavirus) cases in the province as of Wednesday, June 10, 2020. The total number of cases is now 1061. There were no additional deaths reported today. There have been 62 deaths in total in Nova Scotia. There are 5 active cases (the first time the province has provided this data directly). people are currently hospitalized.

The number of active and resolved cases and deaths in total now match the total number of "cumulative cases confirmed" of COVID-19 in Nova Scotia.


Note: After updating the data portal (not updated for the two previous days), the number of cases in the Eastern Zone has increased by 4 cases. At some point, prior to "reconciling" the data the number of cases for our zone were underreported.

The Eastern Zone had had 4 total deaths, with the last of the reported deaths occurring on April 23rd.

The highest number of active COVID-19 cases (non-recovered or deceased) was reported on April 19th totalling 466.
