The Nova Scotia government is reporting 0 new COVID-19 (coronavirus) cases in the province as of Tuesday, June 16, 2020. The total number of cases is now 1061. There were no additional deaths reported today. There have been 62 deaths in total in Nova Scotia. There are 2 active cases. 2 people are currently hospitalized. 997 people have recovered or are classified as "resolved."
This is the seventh day in a row with no new cases of COVID-19 in the province.
IMPORTANT:
"Anyone who has travelled outside of Nova Scotia must self-isolate for 14 days. As always, any Nova Scotian who develops symptoms of acute respiratory illness should limit their contact with others until they feel better."
The Eastern Zone had had 4 total deaths, with the last of the reported deaths occurring on April 23rd.
The highest number of active COVID-19 cases (non-recovered or deceased) was reported on April 19th totalling 466.
