The total number of cases is now 1058. 997 people have recovered. 3 people are currently hospitalized. There were no additional deaths reported today. There have been 61 deaths in total in Nova Scotia. 

23 consecutive days without a reported case of COVID-19 in our zone was interrupted on June 3rd, with one new case reported. This is the second consecutive day in the Eastern Zone with no cases reported. This is also the second consecutive day of no new cases reported in the province.

Previously, the Eastern Zone had 14 consecutive days without a case that ended on May 10th when a single new case was reported. However, no new cases occurred since.

The Eastern Zone had had 4 total deaths, with the last of the reported deaths occurring on April 23rd.

The highest number of active COVID-19 cases (non-recovered or deceased) was reported on April 19th totalling 466.
