The Nova Scotia government is reporting 1 new COVID-19 (coronavirus) case in the province as of Wednesday, June 3, 2020. The total number of cases is now 1058. 993 people have recovered. 3 people are currently hospitalized. There were no additional deaths reported today. There have been 60 deaths in total in Nova Scotia. 

The latest case was in our Eastern Zone. This ends the 23 consecutive days without a reported case of COVID-19 in our zone.

Previously, the Eastern Zone had 14 consecutive days without a case that ended on May 10th when a single new case was reported. However, no new cases occurred since.

The Eastern Zone had had 4 total deaths, with the last of the reported deaths occurring on April 23rd.

The highest number of active COVID-19 cases (non-recovered or deceased) was reported on April 19th totalling 466.
