The Nova Scotia government is reporting 17 new COVID-19 (coronavirus) cases in the province as of Tuesday, April 7, 2020. The total cases is now 310.

The province has reported its first death, a woman in her seventies who resided at a Sydney-area nursing home (per CTV News).
