Oscar nominated actor, writer, and director Ethan Hawke is promoting a new movie about Nova Scotia folk artist Maud Lewis. His interest in Nova Scotia was sparked 18 years ago after spending time in Cape Breton for writing retreats. He later purchased a home near Guysborough and visits every summer.
