It's quite a surprise when someone headed to Sydney, Australia lands in Sydney, Nova Scotia, but it's happened before. Just one careless oversight is all that is needed. In a recent Air Canada promotion from November 28th, even the airline had a bit of confusion.

In a Facebook promo (shown below) for a roundtrip deal between Ottawa and Sydney (Cape Breton), the featured photo was actually downtown Sydney, Australia. We verified that the link was for travel to YQY in Cape Breton. Thank you to goCapeBreton member Brenda Pledge for sharing it with us.
