Thousands in Nova Scotia have no family doctor. In Cape Breton, the situation worsens with all too frequent announcements of some of our current doctors leaving. Yesterday, Dr. Steven Hall, who practices in Sydney, announced that a new doctor is joining him and is now taking applications for new patients.

The news quickly went viral. People were sharing non-stop throughout the day. They tagged their friends and family members on Dr. Hall's Facebook post to make sure they knew about this window of opportunity.

For those without a doctor, you must fill out an application to become a patient of Dr. Lola Obadan. Applications are available at the Keltic Drive Medical Center. The address is 3 Detheridge Dr #100, Sydney, NS B1L 1B8.
