CB Sledgehammers are the only sledgehockey team on Cape Breton Island.

The team gives disabled athletes the chance to compete with able bodied athletes on an even level in a sport they all love to play. We get no funding from anywhere else and rely on generous donations from companies, groups, and individuals to help with ice time, travel, and equipment costs.

We have players that play at provincial level as well as in tournaments here in Sydney PEI Halifax and soon to be New Brunswick.  We are always looking for new players - disabled and able-bodied - to join our team and grow the sport.
