I was to Big Glace Bay Beach today , it was the first time of the season for me as I have been busy working. A couple of friend and myself headed to Big glace bay beach a place that I have spent close to 40 years visiting.  I was sad to see the state of the road that leads to the beach. The car I was in got stuck in the sand, A mini van was stuck to the middle of the wheels. Then the responding tow truck ended up getting stuck as he was about to tow the van out as you can see from the videos I provided links to.

I could not help but think of my grandmother and father as I watched the cars get stuck one after another. When my dad and grandmother were both still here before they passed on my father would load my grandmother into the truck and drive her over to big glace bay beach and they would sit on the shores and watch the waves for as long as she felt up to it. 

As a set of older women were leaving the beach they asked me who my councilor was and I should give him a call and tell him about the state of the road I promised the ladies I would bring some attention to the road for all the grandmas who enjoy the beach that can not walk from the end of the road lets share this and get this road fixed !!
