More than 20 restaurants in the Cape Breton Regional Municipality are participating in this year's Burger Week, from October 29 to November 5. A portion of the proceeds from each Burger Week burger sold will support the Hospice Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton County.

Hungry Cape Bretoners looking to support a good cause, can choose from various burgers created by the restaurants specially for Burger Week. Restaurant goers can then vote for their favourite burger online.

Beef, veggie and chicken burgers appear this year, with toppings that include donair meat and avocado to sweet and sour pork belly and roasted sweet potato.

The Hospice Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton County is a community organization that provides comfort and care for palliative care patients and their families.
