Between May and October 2016, the Mobile Food Market will bring fresh fruits and vegetables to five communities in the Halifax region using a bus. The Mobile Food Market will roll into East Preston and North Preston one week, and will visit north end Halifax, Fairview and Spryfield the following week.
On each market day, the bus will be stocked with fresh, high quality, affordable fruits and vegetables.
It's a great community initiative that is working in the Halifax area. With our high rates of poverty in the CBRM, is this an idea we should consider?
