Entrepreneurship & Investment: A Personal View with Permjot Valia

Permjot Valia: angel investor, fund manager and post-secondary educator (and we'd consider him an entrepreneur, too!). Bringing a local and international perspective on entrepreneurship and investment to the table, Permjot will offer insights based on his experience in the world of start-ups.  

Permjot Valia, CEO, MentorCamp Inc. – He calls himself a life-long salesperson (and that he is) but Permjot sure has honed a broad range of experience and skills! Though currently working as Entrepreneur-in-Residence at four universities, he sits as the board chair of Wooshii and 4Deep Inwater Imaging.  Permjot is also a director at private equity fund Flight & Partners and start-up BlueLight Analytics.  Permjot helped launch Tonic Ventures, a US-based start-up fund he manages alongside four others.  

Permjot is also the founder and CEO of MentorCamp - a global program that connects entrepreneurs with mentors during intense training sessions.  What's more, Permjot finds time to make angel investments, with a portfolio that spans three continents.
