Cape Breton Doctor Steps Down As Network Lead

A North Sydney-based family doctor and assistant professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Dalhousie University, Stephanie Langley, says (via a tweet) that a colleague has "stepped down as Network Lead for our Zone", the Nova Scotia Health Authority's Eastern Division.

Langley says that Dr. Megan Keating is a "bright young engaged physician whose ideas were devalued".

On Sunday, January 6th, Dr. Keating expressed concerns about the regional emergency department, describing conditions as "nothing short of a crisis".
