Hello,

As I am sure you are aware  Special Olympics  World Games is taking place right now in Austria!  Aimee Gordon of  Sydney Mines is Cape Breton's first athlete to ever compete in a World's Game!! She is doing great and set a new personal best in her most recent divisioning!   Also, Cyril MacDonald, of Sydney, is also in Austira and coaching one of the Team Canada Speed Skating Teams. Nova Scotia only has 5 Athletes competing and we are all rooting for them!!  So far Team Canada has a total of 15 medals!!

Also, Aimee and Cyril will be arriving home at the Sydney Airport on Sunday, March 26 at 2:30pm.  We are encouraging the public to come out and welcome them home and to show them our support. :)
