CBR Police Charge Man for Cocaine Trafficking

A 23 year-old man from Sydney is scheduled to face 7 charges in Sydney Provincial Court today as part of ongoing Cape Breton Regional Police investigation into drug trafficking and counterfeit money.

 

Street Crime and Community Safety Enforcement unit officers stopped a vehicle on Grand Lake Road on June 8th , where they located a large amount of Cocaine inside and arrested the two male occupants.

Chance Kenneth MacLeod is charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in Cocaine, Possession of Property Obtained by Crime, Breaches of Probation (x2) and Breaches of previous Court-ordered release conditions (x3).

The second man, a 46-year-old from Sydney, was released on a Promise to Appear in Sydney Provincial Court at a later date.
